This classified growth, owned by INRA, has grown considerably since the Institute's researchers decided to apply the results of their most advanced research to it, and the arrival of Mr Derenoncourt as an advisor. In a rather lively and tense style, Couhins is today by its price the best deal among the white classified growths of Pessac-Léognan.

Revue du Vin de France : 90-91/100 « Pur sauvignon (dont 5 % de sauvignon gris) large et savoureux, offrant un généreux éventail d’agrumes mais aussi une belle allonge saline, calcaire, qui tient la bouche en éveil. »
Bettane & Desseauve : 90/100 « Net, élégant, parfumé, vif, un blanc réussi et très bordelais dans l’esprit. »
Le Point : 15.5-16/20 « Nez frais, fin, fruité pur, pêche jaune, bouche onctueuse, fraîche, finale saline. »
Galloni : 90-92/100 « The 2023 Couhins Blanc is a bit dense and textured in this vintage. Apricot, white flowers, mint and lemon confit build nicely, supported by a phenolic-like structure that adds character. »
