Since its acquisition in 1998 by Mr. De Neipperg (Clos de l'Oratoire, Canon-La Gaffelière, La Mondotte), d'Aiguilhe has been part of the new generation of very ambitious wines that bring the appellation of the Côtes de Castillon to a new level. It has just won a second star in the 2023 guide of the Revue du Vin de France.

Revue du Vin de France : 92-93/100 « Un ravissant nez éclatant de mûre, de fruits noirs et une aromatique très bien définie. La trame calcaire jaillit immédiatement. Un équilibre svelte, une trame ciselée, tout en ayant une certaine tendresse de chair.»
Bettane & Desseauve : 91/100 « Ample et charnu, ce vin ne manque pas de distinction, on apprécie son soyeux, avec en finale des accents de menthe poivrée qui équilibrent l’ensemble. »
Galloni : 90-92/100 « The 2023 d'Aiguilhe is packed with blue/purplish fruit, lavender, spice, menthol and licorice. Bright saline notes lend freshness and verve. The vibrancy of the flavors is really quite striking. »
Martin : 90-92/100 « There is a sense of airiness on the nose deriving from the limestone/clay soil-just a little diffuse. Maybe barrel-aging with bind the aromatics together. The palate is medium-bodied with fine structure. It's quite foursquare, demonstrating more complexity than the preceding Clos Marsalette, with fine delineation and mineralité on the finish. Excellent. »
