The 2021 vintage in the press:

Vinous (A.Galloni-December 2023): 96/100 “The 2021 Domaine de Chevalier Blanc is a dense, powerful dry white. Readers will have to be patient, as the 2021 is going to need quite a bit of time to be at its best. Today, the wine's textural intensity and some oak are front and center. The 2021 is a Blanc of substance and real character. I can't wait to see how it ages.”

    Vinous
(N.Martin-November 2023): 95/100 “The 2021 Domaine de Chevalier Blanc was one of the best wines that I tasted, white or red, during en primeur. Now in bottle, it has a captivating bouquet of mineral-rich citrus fruit that represents one of the most complex I have encountered in any vintage. The palate is well-balanced with a beautiful line of acidity and a slightly resinous texture, very complex and intense on the finish that lingers in the mouth. What a fabulous dry white Bordeaux this will become.”

The 2018 vintage in the press:

Vinous (A.Galloni-April 2021): 95/100 “Rich and unctuous in feel, the 2018 offers terrific nuance to match its creamy, enveloping personality. [...] The poised, deeply resonant finish is striking.”

J-M Quarin (October 2020): 95/100 “Ample from the attack, juicy in the mid-palate and above all very tasty, the wine develops on a fat touch. The finish is complex, long and sappy. It's superb.”

The 2017 vintage in the press:

Vinous (A.Galloni-march 2021): 94+/100A wine of noble breeding and class, the 2017 Domaine de Chevalier Blanc dazzles from start to finish. [...] The 2017 needs at least a few years in bottle to come together, but that won't be an issue for a wine that will drink well for several decades.

The 2021 vintage in the press:

La Revue du Vin de France (Guide 2025): 96/100 “Offering impressive volume on the palate, velvety texture and exceptional tannin quality, the 2020 is gradually relaxing. But don't be in a hurry to open it! It will bear witness for generations to come.”

Vinous (A. Galloni - December 2023): 94+/100 “The 2021 Domaine de Chevalier comes across as quite shy and reticent in this vintage. The aromatics are beguiling, but on the palate, the wine feels a bit strict and clamped down. Crushed flowers, sweet red-toned fruit, spice, mint and blood orange emerge, but only with great reluctance. It will be interesting to see how the 2021 develops over time."

Vinous (N.Martin - January 2024): 95/100 “Domaine de Chevalier 2020 has a refined, discreet, well-defined nose with aromas of blackberry, heather, gravel and earth. Sensual in style, it gradually unfolds in the glass.”

The 2019 vintage in the press:

La Revue du Vin de France (Guide 2025): 91/100 “The material is fine, loose, rather tender but driven by a long tannic structure; without lacking relief.”

Bettane et Desseauve (Guide 2024): 94/100

J.M Quarin (February 2022): 95/100 “Smooth on entry, particularly fruity in the middle, with a melting body and a refined touch, the wine gains fullness and expression in the second half of the palate. The finish is long, with fine tannins that are constantly aromatic. Very good."

The 2018 vintage in the press:

En Magnum (April 2021): 96/100Excellent body, powerful and fresh overall, very balanced, racy tannin, not quite formed yet on the mid-palate, but promising for long cellaring. Faithful to its always energetic and luminous style, this spectacular terroir expresses itself in the most beautiful of ways. Another major success for the Bernard family and their teams.

J-M Quarin (February 2019): 95/100 “Original nuances of pinewood, ink and cream. Melting on the attack, mellow on development, very pleasant, a touch lively, the wine caresses on a sappy body and finishes deep, with taste and fine tannins. Very good length."
