The 2018 vintage is rated 97/100 by the Revue du Vin de France "The blood power and warmth of the year have imposed themselves. While the sunny profile remains, the Figeac character takes over with age, refining the whole" (Sept. 2021).
Rated 97/100 by Antonio Galloni " he 2017 Figeac is outrageously beautiful. Rich, deep and ample, the 2017 soars out of the glass with vertical intensity and explosive power. The flavors are just pulsing with energy. [...] The 2017 is a real "wow" wine; don't miss it " (March 2020)
Rated 100/100 by En Magnum "One thing is certain: 2018 will go down in history. This is one of the great wines of the vintage and the absolute pinnacle of the Right Bank. " (Apr. 2020)
The 2021 vintage is rated 96+/100 by The Wine Advocate « A wine that transcends the vintage's challenges, the 2021 Figeac is performing brilliantly in bottle. Wafting from the glass with aromas of raspberries and cherries mingled with striking top notes of rose petal, iris and mint. Medium to full-bodied, it's pure and vibrant, its enveloping core of fruit framed by ultra-refined tannins, concluding with a long, floral finish. A wine I'll definitely be adding to my own cellar. » (Mars 2024)
