The 2022 vintage in the press:

Vinous (A. Galloni - January 2025): 92/100 "The 2022 Le Petit Ducru is bursting with inky dark red/blue fruit, new leather, spice tobacco, graphite, mocha and espresso. This bold, juicy Saint-Julien offers tons of immediacy, as the Merlot was especially ripe. Le Petit Ducru is quite the extrovert, but it has good structure, too."

The 2019 vintage in the press:

Vinous (A. Galloni - Febrauary 2022): 92/100 "The 2019 Le Petit Ducru de Ducru-Beaucaillou is plush, creamy and open-knit, all of which give it considerable immediacy, not to mention tons of charm. Succulent dark cherry, plum, mocha and licorice lend nuance in this racy, Merlot-based blend. The Petit Ducru is a new wine meant to be thr third selection from the château."

La Revue du Vin de France (November 2021): 90/100 “Formerly named Lalande-Borie, Ducru-Beaucaillou's third wine is very accessible and open, to be drunk on the fruit of its youth. This 2019 is fruity and silky, with charm and a digestible side.”
