The only 1er cru classé in the commune of Sauternes with Yquem, Guiraud offers rich, voluminous, powerful wines with a formal classicism. Certified organic since the 2011 vintage.

The 2020 vintage is rated 94/100 by Antonio Galloni “The 2020 Guiraud is very delicate and beautiful. Hints of jasmine, lemon confit, green pear, mint and chamomile lend vibrancy to this mid-weight, wonderfully nuanced Sauternes. The mid-weight style of 2020 is hugely appealing.” (Dec. 2023)

Also rated 92/100 by Neal Martin “The 2020 Guiraud reveals enticing scents of honeysuckle, quince and a very faint adhesive note. The palate is well balanced with a smooth entry and fine acidity.
