Wonderful delineation and precision on the nose, a mix of red and black fruit, cedar, graphite and subtle tobacco scents. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, energetic and tensile, with more complexity on the slightly creamy finish than you would have found a decade ago. This is surfeited with promise - one of the finest releases in recent years from an estate that's got its mojo back.» (December 2022)
