The 2020 vintage is a coup de ♥ in the Guide Hachette 2024 "its aromatic richness extends into a full, generous, rich palate, in the greatest tradition of classic Sauternes".

The 2020 vintage is rated 96/100 by the Revue du Vin de France "The 2020 reflects the qualitative evolution of the estate with its perfume of citrus fruits and mirabelle plums". (December 2023)

Rated 92/100 by N. Martin «The 2020 Haut-Bergeron, which incidentally comes with a special label to celebrate its bicentenary, has e very pure and perfumed nose with dried honey, white peach, saffran and japanese yuzu. Impressive delineation. The palate is well-balanced with impactful concentration, pretty spicy with stem ginger and lemongrass. Very fine.» (December 2022)

The 2019 vintage in the press:

La Revue du Vin de France (Guide 2025): 93/100 “Haut-Bergeron 2019 hints at an intense spectrum of honeyed, candied orange aromas.”

La Revue du Vin de France (December 2022): 97/100 “At the level of a classified growth, Haut-Bergeron offers a magnificent price/pleasure ratio. The latest vintages, more graceful, affirm a change of course towards less opulence. The elegant 2019 evokes candied orange. The fruit is delicate, with the pleasant sensation of tangy candy on the palate. Its liqueur is well balanced. Fine and nuanced, it evolves with air on an intense grapefruit note.”
