Château de RAYNE VIGNEAU 1er grand cru classé 2022 bottle 75cl

bottle 75cl: 48,00 € incl. VATbottle 75cl

Classified among the first growths of Sauternes during the classification of 1855, the vineyard of Rayne Vigneau (84 hectares, including 62 in one piece) is famous for its soil, which is well known to geologists, as it is composed of a great variety of precious minerals of Pyrenean origin. Without losing sight of these "luxurious" origins " Rayne Vigneau offers smooth, easily accessible wines with floral aromas that are particularly marked in their youth.

Aware of the potential of his terroir (classified as a Sauternes 1er Grand Cru), Vincent Labergère has been working for 10 years to produce a great dry wine. Nothing has been left to chance: the grapes, from a specific 2 hectare plot of blue clay and limestone, have been harvested and vinified separately to allow each grape variety (Semillon and Sauvignon) to deliver their greatest aromatic complexity.

2022 is the first vintage of this gastronomic wine, full of tension and length. A rare wine (only 6 barrels).

The 2022 vintage in the press:

Vinous (N. Martin - April 2023): 90-92/100 "The 2022 Grand Vin Sec has a similar nose to the Sec, just with a little more intensity. The palate is fresh on the entry with lime cordial and Anjou pear notes, a little spice toward the finish that shows just a touch of viscosity. Good lenght. This should age nicely - a classy offering."
