Futures campaign

WHAT IS A PRIMEUR CAMPAIGN?

The en Primeur reservation consists in buying elaborated wines, in the process of maturing in oak barrels in the producers' cellars. Delivery takes place after bottling, i.e. 12 to 24 months later, exclusively in cases (wood or cardboard) from the Domaine.

This method of purchase, at the source, allows the wine lover to
- to have the widest possible choice at home, including the rarest vintages,
- to choose the bottle and the case of the wines at their convenience,
- to benefit from attractive prices (unless there is an "accident" later on at wine fairs).

The 2023 primeur campaign began at the beginning of May 2024 and the marketing of Bordeaux producers will be spread out until the end of June/beginning of July 2024.

Until November 1st 2024, you are free to reserve the bottle (half-bottle, bottle, magnum...) and the case of your choice. After this date, only the bottles will remain available, as we will have had to send the different châteaux our instructions for bottling in the meantime.

We leave the en primeur reservation open until the bottling which takes place during the summer of the following year (July 2025 for the 2023 vintage), i.e. 15 months later.

Thus, until July, two en primeur campaigns overlap each year and allow you to arbitrate your reservations between the qualities, styles and prices of two consecutive vintages (for example, the 2022 and 2023 vintages are simultaneously offered from May to July 2024).

HOW IS THE 2022 FUTURES CAMPAIGN GOING?

The prices mentioned in the first issue are inclusive of french VAT (*), within the limits of our stocks and unless sold in the meantime.

You reserve your 2023 vintage wines by paying this amount by cheque, bank transfer or credit card.

If you pay by cheque or bank transfer, a pro forma invoice attesting to your purchase will be sent to you upon receipt of your payment. If a wine is sold out upon receipt of your reservation, we will immediately return the corresponding payment by cheque or bank transfer.

If you pay by credit card, so on our website, an e-mail recording your reservation form will automatically be sent to you by our server. We will then send you a second e-mail confirming that your reservation has been taken into account and send you the corresponding pro forma invoice.

In the 1st quarter of 2026, we will send you the summary list of all your "2023 Primeurs" with, if applicable, shipping costs (**). Upon receipt of the outstanding balance and your delivery instructions, we will ship your "2023 Primeurs" by road carrier and send you the final invoice.

The Maison DUBECQ keeps the wines and assumes all risks of destruction or deterioration until delivery, which must take place before 31 December 2026. After this date, custody fees will be due (***).
