Fall-Winter 2022/2023 Selection

15/10/2022

Today we uploaded the new collection Fall-Winter 2022/2023, which will accompany us until April 15.

Among the main novelties of this season :

  • in Bordeaux

    - the arrival of the first wines of 2020 just bottled (the others will be released at the beginning of next year), a vintage of perfect balance, rich and dynamic, concentrated and precise, in line with 2016. Likewise, 2020 will delight us in the short term (at least 5 years) as well as in the long term (20 years and more).

    - the return of the organic Clos du Jaugueyron which, on 8 hectares straddling the Haut-Médoc and Margaux appellations, produces admirable wines described by the Revue du Vin de France as "Margaux in the Burgundian way".

  • in Burgundy

    - here too, the 2020s are creating the event. To set the scene, we will quote the magazine Bourgogne Aujourd'hui, which in August 2021 ran the headline on its cover: "Vintage 2020 - The Greatest?", then in April 2022 "2018-2019-2020, the 3 Fantastic".

    - the selection of Domaine Luc et Lise Pavelot (organic), that is to say the best of Burgundy: great terroirs (Pernand-Vergelesses and hill of Corton), practices intelligently combining tradition and modernity, prices more than wise (and more than rare...).

  • in Switzerland: the Cave des Amandiers, domain of one of the star winemakers of the Valais, Alexandre Delétraz, with 2 dry white wines (100% petite arvine) and a red (100% syrah like a Côte-Rôtie).

  • in Armagnac: Domaine du Hourtica, one of the most authentic producers of Bas-Armagnac, with unrectified eaux-de-vie sold after a minimum of 20 years of aging. Four vintages from 1995 to 1969.

  • Our 4 Tasting Offers, two white wines (Galicia and Barsac) and two red wines (Fronsac and Margaux) with a discount.

2021 Futures

09/05/2022

The 2021 vintage will soon be offered for reservation in primeur this month of May.

From Monday 16 May, we will open the "Primeurs 2021" tab and put the wines online as and when they are offered by the châteaux.

On Saturday 21 May, we will send out the first "2021 Futures" newsletter with the new wines of the past week, our comments on the quality or price of each one, and our favourites (or not!).

Then every Saturday until mid-July, a new newsletter will allow you to follow the progress of this campaign live.

To subscribe to our newsletter, simply enter your e-mail address on the home page of our site. And if you don't receive it, it may have been intercepted by your spam filter (?).

Spring-Summer selection

22/04/2022

We have put online today our new "Spring-Summer" collection, valid until October 15th.

With some notable novelties this season :

• in Bordeaux : the return in our selection, after a few years of absence, of Ch. Le Pin-Beausoleil (Bordeaux Supérieur), Goulée by Estournel now renamed G d’Estournel (Médoc) and Ch. La Clotte (Saint-Émilion).

• in Burgundy : we now offer the 2020 vintage of Domaine Pommier organic, Françoise André organic, Rémi Jobard organic and de Villaine organic.

• in the Northern Rhône : the exceptional presence in our catalog of Cornas Vieilles Vignes, the rarest of the vintages produced by Michel Tardieu (on average 1200 bottles per year), traditionally sold out during the Primeurs offers.

• in Corsica : we are expanding the range of Domaine Abbatucci wines with their greatest red wine, Monte Bianco (sciaccarellu) organic.

• in Alsace : the dry rieslings of Domaine Barmès-Buecher organic, the first Alsatian estate to join our selection.

• in Italy : the Villero Riserva from Cantina Vietti, rated 98/100 by Antonio Galloni "The interaction between the density of the fruit and the structure is simply captivating. In a word: dazzling."

The Spring-Summer 2022  catalog will be sent to you by mail in a couple of weeks, to be received around May 10.

You will find there, in exclusivity "Off Internet", the domaines Vacheron organic and Pousse d’Or.
