The 2020 vintage is rated 98/100 by the Revue du Vin de France "Its sumptuous fragrance is reminiscent of tangerine. It coats the palate with a sensation of tangy candy. Suave but weightless, it is balanced by a smooth ageing process that gives it length." (December 2023).

» (Septembre 2023)
The 2016 vintage is rated 100/100 by the Guide Hachette 2021 "The 2016 has left behind the pastry notes of its youth to focus on citron and tangerine flavours. Always harmonious, full-bodied and tasty, vintage after vintage. Vinified with mastery and precision, Laroche Joubert is the reference among the "petits vins" of Bordeaux.
Denis Dubourdieu (deceased in 2016), known for the quality' of his whites, was concerned to produce in his Château Reynon (80% Merlot) a balanced and charming red wine, favouring fresh fruit and silky tannins.
Colombe is not the second wine of Château Peyrou but a special cuvée from a 4.5 hectare plot in the eponymous commune of Sainte-Colombe. A graceful and juicy wine, perfectly digestible, with an obvious and exciting fruitiness (90% Merlot). A big bravo!
Mrs Papon-Nouvel is known for her 2 wonderful Saint-Émilion wines: Clos Saint-Julien and Petit-Gravet Aîné. But it also owns Peyrou, a small vineyard (10 ha) of the Côtes de Castillon in organic farming. Excellent and highly recommended.

Second wine of Pin Beausoleil, 90% Merlot planted in 2000, supervised by Mr. Derenoncourt. Concentrated red fruits, lively and fleshy, Petit Soleil is the best proof of the success of merlots on the clay-limestone terroir of the Entre-deux-Mers. Amazing value for money!
This is further confirmation of the high quality of the clay-limestone terroirs of the Entre-deux-Mers for those who know how to exploit them and are ready to put the means to do so. Lovingly cared for with the help of Mr Derenoncourt, the 5.8 hectares of Le Pin Beausoleil have been producing top-of-the-range Bordeaux wines for 15 years.
"The 2019 is an absolute delight and one of the unsuspected gems of the vintage" for Mr Galloni (Vinous) who rated it 92/100.
A 7.5 hectare Petit Cru in the Entre-deux-Mers at the gateway to Bordeaux, where Stéphane Derenoncourt has carte blanche to conduct precision viticulture. We fully agree with Mr. Bettane: "L'Isle Fort produces one of the most elegant and gourmet Bordeaux Supérieurs that can be found".
L'Isle Fort is known for producing "one of the most elegant and gourmet Bordeaux Supérieur" as Mr. Bettane so rightly wrote. With vineyard management worthy of a classified growth (leaf removal, green harvesting, etc.), coupled with the supervision of Mr. Derenoncourt in the cellar, everything is done to ensure high precision viticulture.
On the 9 ha of the vineyard, made up of a gravel plateau (planted with Cabernet Sauvignon) and south-facing clay-limestone slopes (planted with Merlot and Cabernet Franc), L'Isle Fort has isolated 1.9 ha: 48% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
With a vinification guided by the respect of natural expressions (in non-certified organic culture), this "Cuvée précieuse" pays tribute to the best of the Entre-deux-Mers: a preserved environment in which woods, meadows, lakes, rivers and vineyards constitute an ecosystem of great wealth.
Offered in a set of six bottles of the same wine, but dressed with six different labels.
The 2019 collection is an assortment of six bottles of the same wine beautifully dressed in six different labels.

The "If" is the second wine of Château Les Jonqueyres. An unpretentious Bordeaux, tender and fruity, with a fresh finish on spicy notes that give it tone and relief.

Described as "exemplary Blaye" by Mr. Bettane, Les Jonqueyres, 90% of which is made with 50-year-old Merlot on deep clays, enchants with a fruity taste that is always pure, distinguished and above all very tasty.

80% Merlot, La Chenade is the almost second wine of the Cruzelles. Designed and conceived by Mr. Durantou (Église-Clinet), this is one of the best quality/price ratios on the entire right bank. In confidence!

Rated 92/100 by N. Martin «The 2020 La Chenade was very promising when I originally tasted it from barrel. In bottle since May, it has developed a lovely nose with melted red berry fruit, wild mint and light fennel scents. Nicely delieated and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. Extremely pure, very harmonious, this Lalande-de-Pomerol discretely crescendos towards its very satisfying, quite structured finish. Superb.» (December 2022)
