bottle 75cl: 35,50 € incl. VATbottle 75cl

Even though it is not classified, Siran has been in competition with the classified growths of Margaux for the last ten years, with wines that are at once delicate, firm and full-bodied with age. Aligning successes since 2015, Siran is now at its best, 2020 being its best vintage ever and hailed as such by the Revue du Vin de France: « réussite majeure pour le cru », rated 95/100.

The 2018 vintage is rated 92/100 by Antonio Galloni (Vinous) « The 2018 Siran is impressive, to say the least. Inky, dark and seductive, the 2018 is gorgeous right out of the bottle. Blue/purplish fruit, mocha, spice, chocolate and new French oak all race across the palate. The high percentage of Merlot is felt in the wine's juiciness and palate-weight, while a kick of brightness energizes the finish. In a word: terrific. » (March 2021)

The 2021 vintage is rated 91/100 by Neal Martin (Vinous) « The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, more black fruit here originating from the 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, touches of graphite and cedar emerging toward the finish. It will drink sooner than other vintages, but is still worth seeking out given prices. » (November 2023)

The 2020 vintage is rated 95/100 by La Revue du Vin de France "The 2020 fulfils all its promises and will establish itself as the best Siran we know. A wine that is very much in place, taut and precise, with great length and breed in the tannins". (December 2022)

Rated 92/100 by N. Martin "The 2020 Siran sees the reintroduction of the artistic series label. It offers scents of black cherry and wild strawberry, cedar and pencil lead. Slight marine scents appear with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a powdery texture, very well balanced, notes of white pepper and tobacco towards the classic finish. " (December 2022)
